It is housed in a durable, mountable encasement that allows for both vertical and horizontal installation. There are options available with 15 or 20-amps as well as a selection with a built-in circuit breaker that prevents dangerous overloads. The mounting clips to mount to a T-slot profile are included and there is no machining required.
